International Seminar on “Hybrid Renewable Energy, Grid Booster Storage and Gen Z loads: Reliability & Demand Side Challenges” was organized with the support of CEA, NTPC, Grid-India, International Solar Alliance (ISA) and GIZ on Friday, 24th January 2025 at Silver Oak Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Seminar was inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries; Mr. Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, CEA, Mr. Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC Ltd., Dr Ajay Mathur, DG, International Solar Alliance, Mr. Uwe Gehlen, Head of Development Cooperation, Embassy of Germany, New Delhi, Mr Philipp Johannsen, Clustor Coordinator Energy, GIZ, Dr Ralf Schiele, Former Board Member, STEAG GmbH, Dr Jen Reich, Director (ET), Iqony Solutions GmbH, and Dr JT Verghese, Executive Chairman, STEAG Energy Services India. Inaugural address was made by Mr. Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson, CEA.

Eminent speakers from CEA, Grid-India, The European Association for Storage of Energy (EASE), Brussels, Belgium, ef.Ruhr GmbH, Dortmund University, Germany, 3Energie-Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, Germany,  and Iqony Solutions GmbH, Germany participated in the technical sessions of the seminar. Over 124 delegates including those from CEA, NTPC, Grid-India, ISA, GIZ, policymakers, Hybrid RE power developers, Solar PV companies, Energy Storage providers, power generating companies, state utilities, manufacturers, researchers, consultants, engineers and experts from transmission and distribution companies participated in the seminar.

The deliberations of the seminar will surely help stakeholders in deciding a way forward in the areas of Hybrid RES, Grid Booster Storage and Gen Z loads.

The Proceedings of the International Seminar organized on 29th January 2024 on “AI Applications in the Power Sector” was inaugurated by distinguished guests on the occasion of international seminar organized on “Hybrid Renewable Energy, Grid Booster Storage and Gen Z loads: Reliability & Demand Side Challenges”on 24th Jan 2025. The Soft copy of the seminar 2024 proceedings was already circulated to delegates and stakeholders to provide the deliberations on time. The proceedings are the compilation in book form, containing Speeches of Key Speakers, Summary of Recommendations made and Presentations in the seminar. Pic attached.
