Project profile

PADO for conventional energy supply in India

Plant Analysis, Diagnosis and Optimization (PADO) is one of our efficiency-enhancing optimization programs and was originally developed for India. The state counts in part on wind power and photovoltaics, but relies on conventional power plants to supply energy to around 1.3 billion people.

PADO delivers performance data, giving the management a quick overview of the technical and economic process quality. It is an online decision support system that consists of a lot of software modules. They continuously collect and validate data from the asset performance monitoring process and detect and diagnose errors. In addition, they optimize the heat development and thus create an improved efficiency.

The modules:

Over 80 PADO systems were implemented in India alone.
