Hinduja National Power Corporation Limited (HNPCL) set up a greenfield coal-fired thermal mega power plant at the coast of Bay of Bengal in Vishakhapatnam. The project comprises two units of 520 MW each with state-of-the-art technology offered by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). COD was achieved 2016. Responsibilities of STEAG Energy Services (SES): establishment of O&M procedures and technical office including the facility documentation; development of a human resources policy and recruiting of qualified and experienced personnel; implementation of infrastructure, communication systems and IT systems; training of personnel; long-term full scope Operation & Maintenance.
