Owing to the modular system structure, the CMMS system SI®/PAM can be used and expanded precisely as required. In this specific application, the IT solution (part of our monitoring and optimization solution package WINDcenter) acquires fault messages via the SCADA system of the wind farm, which are logged in SI®/PAM with the corresponding responsibilities and required measures for fault clearance by the operation manager. In a service operation, a work order is created in the CMMS system in advance, and a service technician is given a permit to work. When the job is finished, the duration and execution of the work is logged. The operation manager receives detailed information on the completed work via a download portal of the plant manufacturer. Moreover, in the context of the technical operation management of the wind farm all relevant data are stored and consolidated in SI®/PAM as a central platform.
